PASTOR’S WELFARE FELLOWSHIP

Bethel is an evangelical balanced Christian Social service society. With the freedom we have and within the limits of the law we care the body of Christ and work for the betterment and fruitfulness of the church.

In India we are living with the law of “Anti-conversion”. If we have to baptize some one we have to get the official permission of the local magistrate. If some one is converted either by force or by the means of enticement (social service activities), the pastor who erred will face a 4 year imprisonment with a huge penalty of Rs.1,00,000/=

I certainly know that  to some extent the Christians are the root cause of this evil. The mission heads trumpeted their work in manifold lies." Thousands saved in a crusade. Millions got baptized. Thousands of Churches planted and thousands of missionaries sent."  A 3% minority must learn to behave, in a non-Christian land!

There are thousands of Independent pastors and evangelists who were never trained for the ministry, fighting each other in the field with small house churches will not survive.

We have a vision to streamline these eager but untrained group into a law abiding citizens, properly trained, protected and provided.

1. Regular monthly support of the pastors and evangelists.

2. Help to train them in our study seminars. If you can train them, you are well come!.

3. To provide them with ministerial equipments and church materials.

4. Funds to construct church buildings.

5. FUNDS URGENTLY NEEDED TO BUY A GOSPEL VAN AND FILM UNIT.
